Ponte Sant'Angelo is the pedestrian bridge built by Emperor Hadrian in 134 AD, with Bernini's angel statues lining the sides. It's located in front of Castel Sant'Angelo. The sunset view from here — with the sun setting behind the dome of San Pietro and the Tiber reflecting the colors — is one of the most beautiful in Rome. Spectacular both in winter (clear skies) and in summer (golden warmth). Combine it with a walk to San Pietro or the historic center.
