Di cosa si tratta
Largo di Torre Argentina is an archaeological area in the heart of Rome with four temples from the Republic (the oldest in the city) and the remains of Pompey's Curia where Julius Caesar was assassinated. Since 2023 you can also visit it from inside (low ticket price), but admiring it from above at the edges is free. Fun fact: the area is home to a historic cat colony and a small nonprofit that cares for and finds homes for stray cats (open from 12 to 6pm, free, donations welcome).
