Di cosa si tratta
The Non-Catholic Cemetery in Rome (also called the 'English Cemetery') is one of the most poetic places in the city. Keats, Shelley, Antonio Gramsci, Carlo Emilio Gadda and many others rest here. It's a lush garden with cypress trees, fan palms, stray cats and the Angel of Sorrow (the most photographed statue). Free entry (suggested donation of €3). Open from 9am to 5pm. Near the Piramide Cestia (Piramide metro station, line B).
